Directions: Plan tour trip here From St. Louis; 67/367 north across Clark Bridge into Illinois. At end of bridge, go right then quick left onto Rte. 140/E. Broadway connection, stay right to go east, 0.5 mile to a left on Washington Ave. (BP gas station). Go north 0.9 miles to a left on College Ave. Go west 0.3 miles to a right into the park. Take Rock Springs Dr. all the way around. 1st tee just NE of the pavillion.
Here are a few pics of alton with the new concrete and the tee signs. The secondary tees are still tough to find, be patient the course is still young.
Hole #1. Straight into the woods, basket finishes a little to the left just past the big boulder. (kinda visible in the photo)
Hole #3 Mando left, slow anhyzer with the road to worry about
Hole#4 uphill then a dog leg left hard, then hard left into the woods. Crazy
Hole#7 the shortest hole on the course. But the hill to the left of the basket will make you pay. Go for it!
Hole#9 is one of the longer holes, with a GREAT deal of trees.
